Chicago Bulls made an easy 118-100 victory over Utah Jazz on Saturday March 12, 2011. It was Bulls's 13th win in 15 games. With the past champions watching, the Chicago Bulls again looked like they’re bent on claiming their own spot in franchise history. Derrick Rose scored 17 points in a blistering first quarter as the Bulls grabbed a 37-17 lead, and Chicago set a franchise record with 18 3-pointers while pulling within percentage points of Boston.
Noah said, “It’s huge, We understand that.”
It was a championship-level performance—in the first half, at least—on a night when Chicago celebrated the 20th anniversary of its first title. With Jordan, Pippen and other players and coaches from that team on hand for a halftime ceremony, the Bulls put on a show the old-timers could appreciate.

Durant scored 32 points in a 116-89 blowout win over the Washington Wizards, but of more interest to Oklahoma City was the Thunder debut of center Kendrick Perkins, who started in his first action since a deadline trade from the Boston Celtics.
Perkins had six points and nine rebounds in 20 minutes of play, and said his conditioning was fine after missing nine games with a sprained left knee.
“I felt good,” he said. “A little rusty in some spots, but it felt good to be out there contributing in a positive way.”
